It’s been pretty chill, really, and I feel better than I’ve done the past few weeks.. Although I reckon my NaNo endeavour is pretty shot to hell I’ve gotten the two-week mound of dishes over and done with, I finally got of my arse to turn in some important papers, I finished my translation assignment this weekend, and for supper tonight I made a flat white foccacia with Spanish salami, mozarella, green olives, garlic and some crumbling cheddar that was going to go off in a day or two. For dessert I tried my hand at a French chocolate mousse, which I’ve never made before, and it turned out beautifully: with it I made some vanilla whipped cream and a spiced strawberry mash.
I got Bobby a new sketchbook since they just ran out last night, doodling me a chibi thing. I dug deep into my computer stash to be able to afford all this today, but hey - what with everyone being so adult and not wanting any gifts anymore there’s only one birthday per year to actually care about, and I would rather save up for a new computer for another eight months than not spoil my darling ♥
